In the realm of daily writing, I’m currently at 6 & 4—6 posts, 4 missed days. My mind was focused on resigning these last four days. I’m a Virgo, schedules and lists are a must!
Sooo, can I truly call it “daily” writing if I’ve skipped four out of ten days? Hmm, that’s something to ponder.
Resigned
Resigned seems like the right word. It feels more intentional, less abrupt than ‘quit.’
Quitting might sound like it was done with an attitude, but there’s none of that here. I took this job when I was at a different stage in life. While I have no complaints about it, it just doesn’t fit me anymore.
It was never meant to be permanent, and now it’s time to move on.
Anyway
I took a long walk today. The weather was aaamazing! A hoodie, in August?! It felt like a beautiful autumn day!
That nagging leg issue is still hanging around, thanks to a hurt knee that messed up my gait. Sometimes it’s my hip that aches, sometimes my quad, but hey—at least my knee is finally feeling better. That’s progress, right?
Tonight, I’m planning to work on some designs while watching Psych on Amazon—starting from Episode 1, Season 1. It’s a fun series that I am looking forward to revisiting.
Then, I’ll read a bit until I drift off to sleep.
